Matías Araya and Rodrigo Maldonado are promoted to Directors in the Tax Compliance Area at CCL Auditores Consultores

As of this month, both executives will step down from their roles as senior managers at the firm to take on new professional challenges.

CCL Auditores Consultores announced that, as of this month, two professionals from its team have been promoted. Matías Araya and Rodrigo Maldonado have moved from their roles as senior managers to Directors of the Tax Compliance Area.

It is worth noting that Matías Araya marked five years at CCL this month. He holds a Master’s degree in Tax Planning and Management from the University of Santiago of Chile, a postgraduate degree in Tax Legislation from the same institution, and is a certified public accountant and auditor, with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Auditing from Universidad Diego Portales. He also serves as an academic in tax-related subjects at Universidad Finis Terrae and the Financial and Tax Institute.

Following his appointment, Matías said: “I feel deeply honored by this promotion to Director at CCL, which represents recognition of the collective work and shared effort with many people within the firm. This achievement would not have been possible without the support and trust I have received from those who have worked alongside me and supported me at every step of this journey. Today, CCL is a firm that values its people and provides opportunities for professional growth.”

Meanwhile, Rodrigo Maldonado also completed five years at the firm. He holds a diploma in Taxation from the University of Chile and has more than eight years of experience in accounting and tax matters, both in private companies in the commercial and investment sectors and in consulting.

“I am very grateful for the opportunity to take on the role of Director at CCL Auditores Consultores, a step that represents a great challenge and a valuable opportunity to continue growing both professionally and personally. This achievement would not have been possible without continuous learning, support, and collaboration from the outstanding team we have, with whom we have shared important achievements and experiences,” said Rodrigo upon assuming his new role.

With these recent appointments, the Tax area continues to strengthen its presence within the firm, bringing CCL Auditores Consultores to a total of more than 180 professionals across offices in eight cities in the country: Santiago, Antofagasta, Viña del Mar, Concepción, Osorno, Valdivia, Purranque, and Puerto Montt, mainly composed of lawyers, auditors, and engineers.

The firm congratulates and wishes Matías and Rodrigo great success in their new roles and is confident that they will continue positioning CCL Auditores Consultores as a leader in the national industry while strengthening its broad range of professional services. These words are echoed by the head of the area, Christian Delcorto, Partner of Tax Consulting and Compliance at CCL: “I congratulate Matías and Rodrigo on this well-deserved promotion. This achievement reflects their dedication, effort, and commitment to excellence—qualities they have consistently demonstrated in every task entrusted to them over the years. Their ability to work as a team and focus on achieving results have been key to this recognition. I am convinced that in this new stage they will not only continue to grow professionally but will also become a reference for their colleagues.”
