The Partner of the Legal and Tax/Customs Litigation Area at CCL Auditores Consultores will be part of CAM for the 2024–2026 term.
The Council of the Valparaíso Bar Association appointed the Partner of the Legal and Tax/Customs Litigation Area at CCL Auditores Consultores, President of the Chilean Institute of Customs Law and former Tax and Customs Judge, Francisco Orellana Rivera, to the Roster of Arbitrators of the Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM) of the Valparaíso Region for the 2024–2026 term.
It should be noted that the Valparaíso Arbitration and Mediation Center operates under the auspices of the Valparaíso Bar Association, following the transfer in 2014 of the administration of this mediation and alternative dispute resolution body from the Valparaíso Regional Chamber of Commerce. This contributes to reducing the burden on the ordinary courts, with distinguished arbitrators and mediators of extensive experience.
Following his appointment as an arbitrator of the Center, whose mission is to resolve disputes and seek agreements among various actors in society, the CCL partner stated: “It is an honor to be part of this body of distinguished arbitrators and to contribute to the development of alternative procedures in the Valparaíso Region, offering solutions to conflicts outside the ordinary courts through faster, more efficient, and less costly processes.”
CCL Auditores Consultores congratulates its partner on this appointment to the CAM of the Valparaíso Region, from where he will continue contributing his extensive experience to the country’s justice system.
