The upcoming Tax Filing Season in April and the “Compliance with Tax Obligations” bill presented by the Government in January, along with the bill modifying the “Income Tax”—which is expected to be submitted to Congress in the coming days—both framed within the well-known Executive’s “Fiscal Pact”, have led to movements and reinforcements within consulting firms that advise companies and individuals on meeting their tax obligations.
This is the case of CCL Auditores Consultores—the leading locally originated auditing firm with presence in six cities across Chile, including Osorno—which decided to strengthen its Tax team in the southern region by appointing a new Director of Tax Compliance, Gabriel Campos.
“I am very happy to join the CCL Auditores Consultores team. I hope to contribute to the Tax Compliance area and continue strengthening the relationships we have with all our clients. On my part, I will use all my knowledge as a former SII tax auditor for their benefit and that of the team,” Campos explained.
The new Director of Tax Compliance at CCL joins the team with more than 15 years of professional experience. He is a certified public accountant with several postgraduate diplomas and previously worked at the Internal Revenue Service (SII) as a Tax Auditor in Puerto Varas and later in Puerto Montt, within the groups focused on “Audits of Medium and Large Companies”, “Tax Filing Season”, and also served as an instructor for national training courses within the SII Training Department.
