CCL Auditores Consultores organized a seminar focused on tax compliance and sustainability within business groups.

The event, aimed at local productive sectors such as aquaculture, forestry, construction, livestock, and tourism, sought to provide tools for strategic decision-making in these industries.

Javier Jaque, Tax Consulting Partner at CCL Auditores Consultores, stated that “we believe it is important to address topics related to tax compliance and sustainability. It is essential for business groups to become aware of the times ahead, as well as how these factors will impact the structure of companies in the region and the salmon industry across the Los Lagos region.”

Meanwhile, Renato Estay, Southern Region Partner at CCL Auditores Consultores, highlighted that “we opened an office in Puerto Montt a few months ago and have been focusing on the southern part of the country. We have offices in several cities such as Antofagasta, Santiago, Concepción, Valdivia, Osorno, and now Puerto Montt. Our goal is to connect with the productive sectors of each region. Today, for example, we are offering a seminar on tax compliance, focused on Law 21.713, published last year and already in force.”

“We also addressed tax sustainability, a new component within tax compliance that larger companies must meet. This sustainability also requires traceability, particularly in terms of the transparency that taxpayers must maintain with the Internal Revenue Service,” he added.
