Carlos Tapia

Director of the Corporate Tax Area

He has over 15 years of professional experience in the legal field, providing advice to both local and international clients in the areas of corporate and tax law.

His extensive experience began in the field of economic criminal litigation, later focusing his practice on corporate law as a tax attorney for major companies in the foreign trade, real estate, and private security sectors. His work includes notable participation in various types of litigation, advisory in corporate restructuring processes, corporate divestitures, legal due diligence, industrial property matters, international business expansion, real estate project management, among others. In addition, Carlos has participated as a speaker and lecturer in both public and private institutions.

From an academic perspective, Carlos is an attorney with a Law degree (Bachelor of Legal and Social Sciences). He holds a Master’s degree in Mining and Water Law from the Faculty of Law at Universidad Finis Terrae, a Master’s degree in Taxation from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEN) at Universidad de Chile, and a Diploma in Fraud Prevention, Detection, and Investigation in Companies (Compliance).
