The partners of CCL Auditores Consultores addressed the impacts of the new Tax Compliance Law and topics related to sustainability in business groups, focusing on local productive sectors such as maritime logistics transport, aquaculture, construction, livestock, and tourism.
This Wednesday, CCL Auditores Consultores organized a breakfast seminar titled “Tax Compliance and Sustainability in Business Groups for Decision-Making” at the Hotel Solace in Puerto Varas, where various companies and business associations from the Los Lagos region participated.
The session featured presentations by the Managing Partner of CCL Auditores Consultores, Javier Jaque López, and the Southern Region Partner, Renato Estay Valdés. They discussed the impacts of the new Tax Compliance Law and sustainability-related issues within business groups, focusing on key sectors such as maritime logistics transport, aquaculture, construction, livestock, and tourism.
“The seminar aimed to bring executives closer to the concept of sustainability and its implications, especially in financial statements and decision-making related to tax compliance. In this regard, the idea is for business owners and finance managers, when preparing their budgets, to clearly understand the tax aspects that may affect them, beyond VAT or income tax,” commented Renato Estay Valdés.

Among the companies and industry associations that attended were representatives from Futurolac, Agrollanquihue, Naviera Paredes, independent business owners from the area, among others.
At the end of the event, Javier Jaque López thanked the attendees and added: “We trust that this will be the first of many events we will organize in Puerto Varas and its surroundings, as the interest generated by the discussion has opened up opportunities for growth and learning that promote sustainable development and regulatory compliance among companies in the sector. It is essential that business groups become aware of the times ahead and how these issues will impact the structure of companies across different industries in the country, where the Los Lagos region must not fall behind.”
It is worth noting that CCL Auditores Consultores has more than 180 professionals across the country, distributed in seven offices located in Santiago (headquarters), Antofagasta, Viña del Mar, Concepción, Valdivia, Osorno, and since December 2024, in Puerto Montt.
