Francisco Orellana participated in the seminar “The Role of Customs in Public Security.”

The event was organized by the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Chile and the Chilean Institute of Customs Law (ICDA), with the collaboration of the National Association of Customs Agents.

On June 15, Francisco Orellana, partner of the Legal and Tax/Customs Litigation Area at CCL Auditores Consultores and president of the ICDA, participated in the seminar “The Role of Customs in Public Security: bringing customs knowledge together to build a better world. Borders divide, knowledge connects us.”

The event was organized by the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Chile and the Chilean Institute of Customs Law (ICDA), with the collaboration of the National Association of Customs Agents.

Francisco delivered the opening remarks alongside Jaime Gallegos, Director of the Department of Economic Law at the Universidad de Chile, while Catalina Medel served as moderator.

The speakers included José Ignacio Palma, former National Director of the National Customs Service; Manuel González, Vice President of the ICDA; and Perla Uribe, member of the ICDA.
