As of this Monday, August 4, Mario Morales, Advisory & Strategy Consulting Partner at CCL Auditores Consultores and academic, has taken on a new professional challenge, having been appointed as the new Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts at Universidad Mayor.
The academic will lead the programs and research centers of the Schools of Business, Law, Sociology, Design, Architecture, Government, Education, and Arts, among others.
Following his appointment, the CCL partner stated: “Taking on the challenge of leading the Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts at Universidad Mayor as its new Dean is an honor that I receive with deep gratitude, joy, and commitment. It is worth noting that Mario is an Industrial Civil Engineer and holds a Master’s degree in Business from the University of Chile, an MBA from Tulane University (USA), and a Master’s in Business Economics. He is also a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation. In addition, he has held executive roles in multinational companies such as Telefónica, Motorola, and Nextel. In academia, he has held leadership positions at institutions such as the University of Chile, Universidad Mayor, and Universidad Central, and currently teaches postgraduate courses in areas such as strategy, management control, and business ethics.
