October brought new additions to the Tax team at CCL Auditores Consultores. Public accountant and auditor Claudio Escobar has joined the consulting firm’s Tax team as Senior Manager.
It is worth noting that Claudio had previously worked with this CCL team. Following his return to the firm, the new Senior Manager stated: “I return to CCL Auditores Consultores highly motivated to contribute to the firm’s growth, and with great expectations regarding the regulatory changes and new challenges, both national and international, that are emerging in the tax field. I hope my experience will serve as a driving force for our team and an added value for our clients.”

Background
Claudio Escobar has extensive professional and academic experience. He has focused his career on accounting, local and cross-border taxation, legal regulations, and tax planning. He is a public accountant and auditor from Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana and holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Chile. Additionally, he is a professor at Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana and also teaches online training sessions at Thomson Reuters Chile.
Regarding his professional experience, he has worked at Deloitte Chile as a Tax Manager and at EY Consulting SpA in the same role. Previously, he served as a tax accountant at Holding Inder and as a Senior Tax Consultant at JM+A Consultores Auditores.
