The event will take place on March 19, in a 100% in-person format, at Hotel Solace – Puerto Varas, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It will feature the participation of Javier Jaque López, Managing Partner of CCL Auditores Consultores, and Renato Estay Valdés, Southern Region Partner of the firm.
Focus on Tax Reform and Sustainability
During the session, experts will address the effects of a potential income tax reform, currently under government evaluation, as well as the impacts of the new Tax Compliance Law and sustainability in business groups.
The seminar will be especially focused on key productive sectors in the region, such as:
- Aquaculture
- Forestry industry
- Construction
- Livestock
- Tourism
The Southern Region Partner of CCL, Renato Estay Valdés, highlighted the importance of the event for local development:
“This exclusive seminar for business leaders and executives in the sector has us very excited and optimistic, as it reflects our vision for growth and commitment to the region. We believe that these types of initiatives will open new opportunities, allowing us to strengthen our services and contribute meaningfully to local development,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Managing Partner of CCL, Javier Jaque López, emphasized the challenges companies face amid regulatory changes:
- “There are several challenges involved in a potential income tax reform, as well as the Tax Compliance Law that has been in force since last year. In this context, companies must consider many elements to properly address these changes. Through events like this, we invite businesses to anticipate what is coming and stay informed about the latest regulatory developments,” he explained.
The income tax reform has been postponed several times. Initially, the government committed to presenting it in January 2025 as part of the “fiscal pact”, but its discussion in Congress was postponed again this month due to the priority of pension reform, fiscal constraints, and the need to adjust public spending.
CCL Auditores Consultores reported that only a few spots remain available for the event, and those interested can register by emailing: ppalma@cclac.cl.
