Interview with Agustín Brzovic on Radio El Conquistador – Los Lagos Network

CCL Auditores Consultores’ Legal Director of Tax Consulting was interviewed by Michel Junod to discuss proposals related to the elimination of property taxes and the considerations family businesses must take into account for proper succession planning.

This week, CCL’s Legal Director of Tax Consulting, Agustín Brzovic, appeared on the program Contacto Agropecuario on Radio El Conquistador – Los Lagos Network, where he spoke with host Michel Junod about the importance of generational transfer in family offices and proposals to eliminate property taxes.

In the first segment of the interview, the attorney was asked about the key considerations that family businesses should take into account regarding family wealth reorganization, succession planning, among other matters.

Toward the end of the program, the CCL director addressed the various proposals that have been raised during this election year to eliminate the so-called property tax, commonly known as “contributions.” In this regard, he stated that the main issue surrounding this topic is “the lack of clarity in the information used to determine property taxes—that is, factors such as land valuation, price per square meter, constructions, among others—which lack transparency.”
