The Audit partners delivered the fifth and sixth courses, which covered “Revenue from Contracts with Customers – IFRS 15” and “Leases – IFRS 16”.
During the last week of January, the third week of executive IFRS training sessions was conducted by the Audit team of CCL Auditores Consultores for the firm’s collaborators and clients.
So far, in each of the six sessions held, more than 30 participants have joined to learn more about International Financial Reporting Standards – IFRS.
In the fifth training session titled “Revenue from Contracts with Customers – IFRS 15”, Audit Partner Andrea Aravena reviewed: Technical Bulletin 70 – Revenue recognition from the sale of goods and provision of services, IFRS for SMEs – Section 23 Revenue, and IFRS 15 Revenue from Contracts with Customers.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, February 1, Audit Lead Partner Carlos Barahona was the instructor responsible for explaining the topic of the sixth training session: “Leases – IFRS 16”. On this occasion, the content covered included Technical Bulletin 22 – Accounting for leasing transactions, IFRS for SMEs, and the objective and scope of IFRS 16, among others.
With the completion of these two latest training sessions, only three courses remain to be delivered this summer:
- Tuesday, February 6: Agriculture (Biological Assets) – IAS 41.
- Thursday, February 8: Income Taxes and Deferred Taxes – IAS 12
- Tuesday, February 13: Update on new pronouncements – Various.
