CCL Auditores Consultores congratulates Roberto Urbina and Andrea Aravena for being authorized by the Comisión para el Mercado Financiero (CMF) to lead, conduct, and sign audit reports of regulated entities

The firm’s Audit partners joined the list of partners authorized by the entity, along with their peers in the area: Carlos Barahona, Gerardo Ugalde, and Carolina Caro.

In accordance with the requirements set forth in General Standard No. 275 and Circular No. 12, the Financial Market Commission (CMF) authorized two Audit partners from the CCL Auditores Consultores team to lead, conduct, and sign audit reports of regulated entities.

These partners are Roberto Urbina and Andrea Aravena, who were appointed to this role last year by the leading locally founded consulting and audit firm: CCL Auditores Consultores.

In this way, Roberto and Andrea joined the list of partners authorized by the entity, along with their colleagues at the firm: Carlos Barahona, Gerardo Ugalde, and Carolina Caro. In the case of Roberto Urbina, his authorization includes the ability to lead, conduct, and sign audit reports for Insurance Companies as well as Banks and Financial Institutions.

Professional and academic background:

Roberto Urbina is a public accountant and auditor from the University of Santiago of Chile, certified in IFRS ICAEW-USACH, and holds a diploma in Derivatives Instruments and Financial Risk Hedging. He has 18 years of experience in audit and financial consulting, advising companies in both the public and private sectors, particularly in the financial industry. He has also served as a lecturer in auditing courses at the School of Auditors of Santiago, as well as in various IFRS-related training programs.

Meanwhile, Andrea Aravena is a public accountant and auditor from DUOC UC and holds a diploma in IPSAS-CGR from the University of Santiago. She has more than 20 years of experience in audit and financial consulting, advising companies in both the public and private sectors. As an instructor, she has participated in the IFRS Diploma Program at Universidad Diego Portales, as well as in various courses and training programs related to IFRS, auditing, administration, and accounting.
