During the interview, the tax consulting expert addressed the considerations seniors should take into account regarding eligibility requirements for property tax benefits, as well as explaining who is required to pay and how to complete the process.
It is worth noting that property taxes are a wealth tax on real estate, calculated as a percentage of the assessed value of properties, and apply to both agricultural and non-agricultural properties.
